I have just returned from Port Douglas and had a wonder trip.
I own a cafe in Sydney so I really love my coffee. But I have to say I have NEVER been to a cafe and experened coffee of this quality. Ever coffee I had a Rehab was perfect. Never bitter, never to hot, never to cold. Perfect every time!!! I had about 15 cups and everone passed the test...

Well done.. You should all be proud of yourselves..

Hi!
I worked in Port D exactly one year ago at the iron bar, and I used to come to re:hab every break I had and it was the best break from the stress at work.
Your cafe inspired me and now my dream is to open a café of my own. So I would love some pointers, I had a few good conversations with Stefan, since we're both swedish. And I'm now waiting for my visa to move to Australia together with my fiancé.
Anywho I would really like it if you could send me Stefan's mailadress so we could have a chat.
And thanks for the great service and coffee!
best regards

Rehab??... I was recommended to go there by a mate that owns a great cafe in surrey hills, on arrival I asked the girl at the counter about breakfast options, she abruptly pointed down and said 'what you see is what you get'! now feeling obliged to order something I then ordered a cappuccino and my girlfriend asked what flavoured muffins there were, she told us and we decided to just order my cappuccino and a Mocha instead, a minute later I see her putting a muffin into a bag so I reminded her that we were just having the coffee's so she huffed and puffed and reluctantly refunded me for the muffin.

About a week later the coffee dude started making the coffee and stuffed about with no urgency, he finished the coffee and gave me a soy cappuccino with no mocha, I was confused so he got the visibly pissed off girl over and asked her what the story was, she just walked off, he then made me feel like a complete idiot by saying well do you want it or not? my girlfriend just said don't worry about the mocha we have to go, he then re made me a cappuccino and left it on the counter without a lid and went about taking other coffee's out, he walked back and said said Oh your take away coffee is ready! I grabbed it and he gave me a look and a stupid wink like to say 'piss off champ' no apology either.

Coffee was good but the staff need to try smiling once in a while and drop the attitude, If I want that sort of service I'll just go to the RTA and complain about the cost of car registration.

It's a shame our great week in Port Douglas had to end with an experience such a this.

Rehab... the name says it all. I was delighted to take a break and literally a relaxing rehab session whilst enjoying my stay at Port Douglas. Also became a daily morning habit of mine during my brief stay

Rehab is a vibrant place to sit, chill out and have a wonderful coffee. It is so easy to get lost in the Rehab 'zone'. The orange friands with yoghurt are absolutely to die for, and the coffee is great. The cafe was one of the many highlights in Port Douglas. We have just arrived back in Brisbane after spending a few days in Port, and I had my Rehab fix every day of my holiday. Can't wait to come back to visit again!
